Luna’s story
Some dogs
change everything.
Ours was named Luna.
She was a rescued German Shepherd with behavior challenges to work through, a love of her ball, and a spirit all her own. Learning to understand her changed everything.
our greatest teacher.Luna was rescued in 2010, when she was six months old. She and her littermates had survived parvo and weeks of quarantine. By the time she came home, the world could feel like a frightening place.
Luna struggled with fear, leash reactivity, and confidence. Loving her came naturally. Understanding what she needed took learning, patience, and a willingness to keep trying.
That search became a life’s work in dog training. Luna inspired Koru K9, a successful nationwide dog training company, and later the idea behind LunaDogAI: help more people understand the dog they love and find a clearer way forward.
Luna died on December 29, 2022. She remains at the heart of why we do this.
There’s a whole dog behind every behavior.
And a whole lot of love behind every question.

LunaDogAI was built by professional dog trainers who turned their experience with real dogs and real behavior challenges into a dedicated training platform. The knowledge base brings together their methods, lessons, and practical approach to building trust, clear communication, and boundaries.
Your dog’s videos and history shape a custom plan. Trainer-created instructional videos and homework turn that plan into daily practice. Ongoing AI guidance uses your updates to help you keep moving forward together.
